If you received your USRP2 recently and it has a blue Patriot 2 GB SD card, then there is a good chance that the flash card is bad. Unfortunately, we got a batch of SD cards where most were bad, and they were not tested before we shipped them out.
The symptom is that no LEDs on the front panel light up when you apply power with the flash card inserted.
If this happened to you, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject "SD Card". In the email, please tell us how many cards you received that were bad, and give us your mailing address where we can send you good ones.
We are very sorry for the inconvenience. We will get your replacements sent out as soon as we get the email from you. We will be changing our procedures so that we test all SD cards before shipping to insure that this does not happen again.
If you are in a hurry, you can try your own flash card while you wait for the replacement. Remember that you will be erasing any other contents of the SD card, so use a card that doesn't have important files or photos on it. You can find the directions on how to do that here: SD Card Programming
